Sometimes life gets busy and overwhelming, but take time to deliberately find those things that make your life joyous. Don’t take yourself too seriously and don’t dwell on the negative events or situations. God places some people or relationships in your life so that he can bless you.

Don’t focus on the negativity in life. There are always ways you can feel grateful and find joy in life. Your strength is grounded in your joy in the Lord. God wants you to have a full life. When you have Jesus, you should have unspeakable joy because you can’t find a greater friend. You can rely on him and he will bless you with strength when you need it or faith whey your run low. During troubling and difficult times, you need to look no further than a prayer to find him. Plan each day to intentionally reflect on how good God has been to you and acknowledge that he has brought you through many challenging situations. Nehemiah 8:10 states “for the joy of the Lord is my strength.” Just knowing that should revive your soul.

Today, devote some time to finding joy in your life. It doesn’t have to be anything major. Sometimes, just the little things bring unexpected joy to you.
