Christian Education
We have Bible study each Wednesday at 7:00 pm. Our Christian education also includes Sunday School teaching. This helps to build upon the foundation of the spoken word. Students are provided with study materials and training materials that enhance their understanding of the Gospel. That material provides them with detailed and historical study in the Word. The sessions are interactive. Students can ask questions and get answers to their questions. Scripture is explained to them in a practical way.
Missionary
Our focus is to be accessible vessels for God to use. Our charge is reach the community and to spread the Good News of the gospel and bring as many souls into the Kingdom as we have opportunities to cross paths with during our journeys. Throughout the Bible, women played important roles in the furtherance of the Gospel. During Jesus’ earthly ministry, He left us with a clear roadmap to follow. We are called to aid others who need assistance and love our neighbors as ourselves. Those are a few of the many important cornerstones of Christianity. As we follow those principles, that allows us to share His Word with others and spread the Good News of the Gospel to our families, friends, and throughout the community. That is our endeavor in the Missionary Department at Calvary United Church.
Outreach
We visit our community and share the good news of the Gospel. Through our various outreach programs, we invite the community to a begin relationship with Jesus Christ or return to their faith.
Music
We have three choirs that perform on their designated services. They include the Youth Choir, Men’s Choir, and Combined Choir. Our weekly services are recorded. We encourage you to visit our Audio/Video Department and request some of the dynamic sermons that were preached by Pastor Michael Fields and other guest speakers. The messages will bless you and help to encourage, uplift, and enhance your worship experience. Share them with your friends and family.
