SALVATION - Salvation is a free gift from God to mankind. It is up to each of us to accept it. It is a priceless gift that mankind can’t repay. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12) "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
ADMIT - Admit that you are a sinner. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
REPENT - You must be deeply sorry for your sins, be willing to completely turn away from them, and ask God for forgiveness. Jesus said, "I tell you, nay: but except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." (St. Luke 13:5)
BELIEVE - Believe that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried, and rose from the dead. "That if thou confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9)" For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (St. John 3:16)
CONFESS - "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:10) "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)
Invite - INVITE - Invite Jesus into your heart and life and allow him to become your personal Lord and Savior. By doing so, your heart and life will be changed and you will embark upon a life-long journey.
