Don't Lose Hope.

When God doesn't do what we expect him to do, we tend to get offended and lose

hope. Just because Jesus comes to you in a way you don't expect, don't give up. Don't lose hope. We must bring our doubts and questions to God, trust his Word, and trust that his plan, even if it is delayed or causes suffering, is perfect.
For instance, When John the Baptist was in prison, he expected Jesus to come to him with great power and might and to deliver him from prison and make the people do what he wanted them to do. Instead Jesus came preaching love and forgiveness. John got so discouraged until he asked his disciples to go to Jesus and ask him if he was the Messiah.
Matthew 11: 3, stats, "And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another."
Previously, John had baptized Jesus in the Jordan and the profound statement that he made asking if Jesus was the Messiah is evidence of John's discouragement.
Don't lose hope or heart if God doesn't show up the way you anticipated that we would. True wisdom is found in humility and child-like faith. Trust in God and he will work things out for your good.
God knows what he is doing and he can handle any situation the arises.
"Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward." Hebrews 10:35.
