I write to encourage everyone to be vigilant and stay strong. We will get through this Coronavirus pandemic together. I know that many of our families, friends, and communities are concerned about the spreading of the Coronavirus. I encourage everyone to follow the guidelines we have been receiving from our elected officials and trust God to take care of the rest. He will work it out for our good. Our government officials are working tirelessly to diminish the spread of the virus and to keep us safe. I encourage everyone to keep those who are on the front lines such as the doctors, nurses, and first responders in our thoughts and prayers. They are feverishly fighting the spread of the Coronavirus.
Although we are not on the front lines, we can pray for our leaders to make the right decisions and for our doctors and scientists to find a vaccine or medical solution to stop the virus. These are trying times and it seems that a sense of fear has gripped the entire world. We should be mindful, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a strong mind.” II Timothy 1:7. This situation may become worse before it becomes better, but just know that God is still with us. Hebrews 13:5, states that He will never leave you nor forsake you. We are going through some tough medical and financial times, but be encouraged and know that God is still in control and he has the power to protect us.
God hears our prayers as stated in Psalms 34:17, “The righteous cry, and the Lord hears, and deliver them out of all their troubles.” We all feel worn out and weak, but at times like these God gives us an extra measure of strength and energy during our weak points. Philippians 4:6 states, “Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be known to God.”
Our country has been through difficult times before and we will come out on the other side of this storm stronger than we were before this virus. We will get through this together.
