Life has its ups and downs. Sometimes life can really weigh you down. God wants us to let go and allow him to handle those difficult situations. He is there with us when we encounter those dark places in our lives. We are limited in our ability to positively influence a situation or people. Instead of resolving the matter, we likely make it worse. We don’t have the capacity to deal with all of life’s problems. God is omnipotent and omnipresent. He knows that and he knows what is best for us. Sometimes, God allows us to go through those rough spots to help us learn a lesson, increase our faith, or increase our trust in him. We encounter many unexpected challenges. It is impossible for us to handle all of life’s challenges. God wants us to relinquish our control and put him in charge. 1 Peter 5:7 states, “Casting all your care upon him for he careth for you.” We can be sure that God is with us and there is nothing that we can’t deal with as long as he is with us.
