We get so busy with work, deadlines and cares of our everyday lives. In our haste to accomplish projects and get things done, we don’t prioritize the really important aspects of our lives. We need to slow down and show some gratitude to God for the blessings he has given to us. We should worship him and place a high priority on fulfilling his purpose for our lives. We need to take time out to enjoy our families as well.
Sometimes we prioritize the wrong things in our lives. If we remove the unimportant stuff in our lives, we will find that we have more time for our purpose. We should live a life full of appreciation, purpose, and gratitude.
God has been good to us and we should be grateful for the lives he has given to us. We even need to appreciate those people that God has placed in our lives that we don’t want to deal with. They have been placed in our lives to strengthen our prayer lives, learn a new lesson, or build up our faith. God has brought us a mighty long way over the years. He has protected us and kept us from hurt, harm, and danger.
As Christians, we can approach him boldly and go the throne of grace to let our petitions be know unto God. That in and of itself is a blessing to have that opportunity. Psalm 50:14 states, “Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most high: And call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver thee, and though shalt glorify me.” Don’t take things for granted. Life can change at the blink of an eye. That is why we should stay connected to our power source, Jesus Christ.
