My message for today is be encouraged and stay on track. God is faithful and cares about you. He is concerned about your troubles and trials. You may feel lonely at times and that nothing is working for you. You may feel that way, but whatever you are going through, you can overcome it. You will be better for having gone through the challenges in your life. Even Jesus went through difficult times. His friends walked away, some betrayed him, and others let him down. Whatever you need help with he is compassionate and empathizes with you.
There may be situations in your life that you don’t believe will ever change. Those situations are not impossible. It is not hard for God to instantly turn your situations around. You can be confident that your prayers reach heaven and God hears them.
Always remember, no matter what you are going through, you have someone on your side. When Jesus was carrying that cross, he had the weight of the world on his shoulders. He endured all the pain, humiliation, mockery, and mistreatment. He suffered through it because of you and me. To him, you are worth him laying down his life to save you. He bore all of your problems, mistakes, worries, despair, and sins (past, present, and future) on the cross. Through it all, he got up from the grave and left his grave clothes there.
Now, he is sitting at the right hand of God and making intersession for you. Romans 8:34 states, “Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.”
Just take a few minutes today and think about where he brought you from, out of darkness into his light. That will help to encourage you and lift your spirit. You serve a risen Savior who is Omnipotent (all-powerful), Omnipresent (present everywhere at the same time) and Omniscient (all knowing). Therefore, you can place your complete confidence and hope in him. All things are possible with him on your side. There is nothing too hard for God.
