Don't worry. Can you change any situation by worrying?

Matthew 6:27-29 states, “Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin; And yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. “

Worry can affect you negatively both physically and spiritually. God has not given you a spirit of fear. Rest in your confidence in God and his sovereignty. There is no need to continually worry. You may not know the end, but God knows the end results of your situation. Worry is just a distraction to keep you from your purpose in Christ. Anything that keeps you from your purpose is not in God’s will for your life. You are wasting your energy. Put your energy into something positive. Began to praise and worship God for what he is about to do for you. Abraham is called the father of faith. He placed his total faith and confidence in God. God blessed him and rewarded him with a promise. Romans 4:17-18, states “As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations, before him whom he believed, even God, who quickened the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.” Stay connected to God, your power source, and let the worrying go. Put your full faith in God.

You are not strong enough to shoulder all of life’s worries. God has the strength to carry the weight for you. 1 Peter 5:7 states, “Cast all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” God loves you and wants the best for you. His thoughts towards us are good and not evil. Jeremiah 29:11 states, “for I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Instead of worrying about things you can’t change, pray and ask God to help you to come to terms with your situation.
